File Your FL Property Tax Appeal

A TaxCuts1 VAB petition is your best bet to cut your FL property taxes! 

The filing deadline for Value Adjustment Board petitions for most SW Florida's counties expires in early to mid-September. Unless a petition is timely filed (25 days from the TRIM Notice mailing date), an owner will typically lose the ability to challenge tax year values. Lee County 2025 petition deadline is expected on or about 9-15-2025.  

You do not need to wait and should not wait until you receive your TRIM Notice in August, 2025 to start reviewing your 2025 assessment. It is available upon request as of the date of tax roll submission, July 1, 2025, and until said date, leepa.org has 2024 values listed.  We strongly believe that the time frame from July 1 until the 2025 TRIMs are mailed is the best time to talk informally with property appraiser personnel and to have a say in the determination of values.
