TaxCuts1's 2017 Property Tax Petition and Appeal Procedures
A TaxCuts1 petition is your best bet to cut your FL property taxes!
The filing deadline for Value Adjustment Board petitions for most SW Florida's counties expires in early to mid-September. Unless a petition is timely filed (25 days from the TRIM Notice mailing date), an owner will typically lose the ability to challenge tax year values.
You do not need to wait and should not wait until you receive your TRIM Notice in August, 2017 to start reviewing your 2017 assessment. It is available upon request as early as July 1, 2017.
We strongly believe that the time frame from July 1 until before TRIMs are mailed is the best time to talk informally with property appraiser personnel and to have a say in the detrmination of values. Call us for details.

Testimonial of Michael J. Frye, RE/MAX Realty Group Owner
"Hagen (TaxCuts1's owner) was able to prove that our assessed value should be reduced (saving between $15-20,000 in taxes that year). Mike knows all the professional ways to execute an appeal and do it expeditiously." Michael J. Frye, CCIM, RE/MAX Realty Group owner, Fort Myers, FL
